What do we love about Corfu? We love the laid-back locals, the relaxed pace of life. We love the lack of crime, the safety of the streets and the countryside. We love the changing seasons, which each herald a change in the food we eat and in the way we spend our day. We love exploring the varied landscapes of the island, strolling in the narrow streets of old Corfu Town, sipping ouzo in the shade of the Tree of Idleness, at a traditional bar in a village square. We love the fresh, back-to-nature local produce, which both at home and in the tavernas, translates into food which tastes like it should.

Corfu's Environment
At Luvcorfu Properties, expressing our concerns for the environment does not constitute an empty marketing tool. We were at the forefront of the fight to stop chemical spraying of the olive trees, and we initiated action to prevent olive trees being cut down to supply pizza ovens in Italy. Though these battles came at a cost, both efforts were vindicated when the authorities changed the law to halt the environmental damage. We founded the Corfu Heritage Preservation Foundation, and continue to be active members of other organizations concerned with culture and the environment. Our prototype new-build traditional houses (built by construction company Petra) are paving the way for a return to authentically Corfiot architecture. We invite you to join us, to sustain the dream.
